Week 33

Hey everyone! We have been doing super good this week. It's weird because the days all seemed long and it actually didn't seem like we had been doing that good until we counted our numbers and realized we did great! We found eight investigators this week which is my record high so far!! :) I think a lot of it was because we have found a lot of couples and so it's been awesome to teach them.

Unfortunately our of our many baptism dates we had like three of them drop on us. One of them moved to Mexico and the other two just aren't interested in progressing... they said that we could stop by and read them some scriptures or something but that they would never come to church or do anything. Maybe future missionaries will have more luck with them! Seeds planted for the future.

Elder Lazaro is a good companion and we really get along! We find ways to make working actually fun, haha :) It's also funny because he's from Spain originally he doesn't know some of the Puerto Rican/Mexican spanish words I use sometimes, but he's catching on ;)

The weather has been cool this week too, like we had a tornado warning one night! We were really hoping we'd get to see one but it didn't hit us :( Hahaha it's kind of funny how much we wanted it to touch down. We actually heard it did but it wasn't in our area (un)fortunately :) It would've been so cool!!

Today is my eight month mark! I can't believe it! It has been great so far and I'm excited for the future. I have learned so much and have so much more to learn!

I love all of you and hope you all get a chance to read all the Conference talks over again! They are inspired and written for us today!!

Love, Elder Hayes

(sorry no photos) :(
